A great bargain for me. I am not a professional farrier, but I have been doing my own donkey farrier work for the last 4 years. And I have never had a set of chaps to hold the knifes and tools. Carrying the tools around while doing the hoofs is a very inconvenient way to do things. The donkeys do not like to hear metal clinking noises, not to mention I am always reaching a long way away to get something. The quality and price of these tool-holding chaps is excellent. I wish the tool pockets were a little deeper and a little wider so that I can put two knives in each pocket, but they will do! The rings look like great potential holders for things like wire brushes with a hook on the end. You can look a long time and not find anything nearly as cost effective. I highly recommend them. I am suspect of the ability of the ring to hold my rasp, but I have an ankle/calf holder for the rasp anyway.
