The Basic shotgun chap is a plain shotgun chap without extra options, it is a great quality working chap.  These shotgun chaps are made with what we call our "basic" leather which is available in "earthtone" colors.  The colors normally range from lighter to dark brown.  This new basic shotgun has a bottom cuff added.  Aside from looking good, the cuff may be easily replaced if the bottom of your chap gets dry and cracked from repeated soakings in the mud and muck.

We have listed some leather characteristics and color options below for you to check-off when ordering, we will try to accommodate these color choices and leather characteristics as closely as possible according to what we have in our stock of chaps.  If you are very selective about the color and the other leather characteristics, please call to describe what you want and we will try to accommodate your request.  We may not be able to accommodate all of your desired selections from our stock of  pre-made chaps, so if any specific characteristic is important to you then please call us.  If don't have a pair in-stock to meet your specific tastes then you have the option to order a custom made pair.

If color is an important issue, we can email a digital photo of the chinks that are in-stock that will closely match your description of color. We can normally do this within a few minutes so you don't need to wait long. If we don't have the color you want, you may need to special order your chaps with additional charges.
