Our work chap/aprons are made from a 6 ounce apron split leather, this leather is often called "mulehide". We feel that the 6 ounce leather is the best weight for both durability and minimal bulk.
They are 29" in length and are designed to fit low on the waist. The nylon belt is adustable to fit almost any sized indiviual.
