Sizing - use a cloth tape to take a snug measurement at the largest point of the calf. We recommend adding at least 1" to this measurement when picking your size.
B Bar B is proud to offer these new motorcycle half chap styles. When you buy from us, you are buying directly from the manufacturer. The chap body is a soft premium naked finish (5.0 to 5.5 ounce) leather that is both good-looking, and durable. They also have a leather panel in the back to cover the heavy duty 3/4" brass zippers for a more appealing look. Another added feature is the removable heel strap that helps to hold your half chap in the correct position. This is a feature that won't be found on most half chaps.
One style features a firm black latigo leather front panel in a 6-7 ounce weight. This panel will provide superior protection from rocks and other road debris. We have added the Flex cut-out at the base of the knee to allow enhanced mobility.
Another style features a softer 5 ounce chap leather front panel. This panel is softer for those that prefer rigidity, but the chap still provides two layers of 5 ounce leather between you and road debris.
Chaps options such as conchos, leather strings, studs, and fringe may be added to an in-stock half chap to offer more of a custom look. The term "Made in the USA" can be controversial, but we have no controversy. We make them from scratch right here in Blackfoot, Idaho. We make the patterns here, cut the parts here, and completely build them here. Because we make them in-house and here in the USA, our required production time is normally 2 weeks for custom made orders. This can vary somewhat depending on our current backlog of orders but if you give us a call, we can let you know.
