Now available - choice of 2 or 3 buckle leg closure, or choice of 2 or 3 snap & dee leg closure. You may also add the option of a snap and dee leg closure at calf level to help keep the chaps in a closed position
Our in-stock basic style batwing chaps are a fully functional plain version without any fancy options. They will work for ranch work or just plain pleasure riding. They feature an adjustable latigo leather front belt, and an adjustable doubled and stitched backbelt that is laced on with a v-braid. The upper leg fastens with two chap leather leg straps and buckles or you may have the choice of snap and dee ring leg closures.
Stock sizes - Junior, X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, and X-large.
Specifications - basic batwing with no added options: Leather - 4.5 to 5 ounce top grain, basic leather, "earthtone" color. 5 ounce suede now available. Top yoke - 4.5 to 5 ounce top grain chap leather. Side yoke - no side yoke, two slotted stamped steel conchos & strings. Front belt - 5/8" latigo leather, 6-7 ounce with #121 buckle. Back belt - adjustable 1.5" doubled & stitched chapleather, laced on with V-braid. Leg straps - 3.4" x 8.5", 4.5 to 5.5 ounce chap leather (2 per leg) Leg buckle straps - 4.5 to 5.5 ounce chap leather with 3/4" roller buckles Fringe - none Thread - black nylon #135
For additional cost, you may add pockets and brands or change conchos. Custom sizes can be made if a standard size won't work for you.
